A Love Letter

There are many possible purposes to a letter: to inform, to educate, to communicate feelings, to persuade, to vent, or to clarify one’s thoughts and emotions in one’s own mind.

A ‘love letter’ is, of course, the most worthy of all letters, so I will begin with that. This then is a love letter to my readers, to thank you for allowing me to do the thing I most love to do: to write and to weave stories.

May you all find your passion—that activity or state of being which brings you joy—and may you all boot the Inner Critic out of your life. You do not need him. He is not you. He is the creation of critical parents or of an indifferent and unkind society. He has nothing to do with your purpose or who you are.

A blessed awakening to us all.
